jquery menu problem

Hi

I have a problem with jquery menu...
no arrows no drop downs etc...  :o

How to fix this?

+ How to change the color of the background?

My Theme is Modern , osclass 3.2.2

ok color of the background is an image...
I manage that...
how about the arrows?

what else I can use? I know there are plenty menu's out there...for me I am terrible with codings etc....
how to implement them to osclass? any suggestions...
