PAID PLUGINS and THEMES

I would like to kindly ask Osclass team if PAID plugins are allowed to be supported here (anywhere in the forums) or not.

And if they are officially allowed, then please CREATE a proper forum and subforum (or whatever) to SEPARATE them from free ones.

I guess what Wordpress.org does (ban paid support) is best.

Personally, I think your idea of separate forums is better.

That way, other members who have encountered problems may be able to help as well.

We are supposed to be a community that helps each other after all.

Well, you know the whole "idea" of a community is ALWAYS build mainly towards free and open source projects/scripts.

Why help someone who gets money from a paid plugin ? I mean if he gets money, then he should also do the support.

And please don't get me wrong. I would help some user who needs help with a paid plugin IF i know something related. But generally paid is paid and free is free. Wordpress.org is a good example. Paid plugin is banned STRICTLY.

Paid products (themes, plugins, other) at official Osclass Market already have a special support portal @ Market, where each user can connect directly to their developers. Not sure about forum and how would that work, though. I don't personally mind either way.

I don't mind either, as long as they are separated from the rest community.

Pitty, that the Osclass team didn't take the time to shed some light in this. Little snobish, as usual.

Maybe it is a good idea, but... will it be open to everyone? Or just the customers? If later, it will need integration with the Market accounts, doable, but also may expose things as a security risk (given infrequent SMF updates here). If open to everyone - all fine.

I see more and more topics with problems and questions about PAID stuff here.

That makes hard to follow here. And confusing for new people also, that get NO help or replies.

I would like to ask again Osclass team my original question. I hope this time, i get a answer.

Because, oscloss team never encroging a free products. In market.. They giving priority only for paid product . did you noticed any filter for free product?

I have purchased MADHOUSE SEO plugin, developer is not answering questions and problems...

I guess this is almost same with other plugins, too...

Osclass need to find a solution for not answering paid plugins developers

No, it is not the case with every plugin and theme. Each one has a review section where you can read previous user's experiences. Please do not generalise conclusion.

I personally don't mind if someone asks both for free and paid plugins/themes. I would love to help someone with both types of plugins/themes and love even more if someone would help me.

If someone doesn't want to answer someone because his plugin/theme is paid, that's his thing, but we should help each other.

Looking forward often requires looking backward.
I see  github projects updated weekly  with only 2 custodians.
What 's the goal of osclass "project" ? Little steps on a niche ?
To fight with big boys  osclass  project must think "big" !  and explore new worlds ,not just classifieds.
Looking backward we are missing moderators on forum  with a good background and a good knowledge of osclass products ,to stop silly questions ,requests , developer defamation ,developers dispute

same thing happens with me, they didn't answer my question also

do we have to pay more to get support ??  :o
