Social Login - Facebook - Issues Posting Ad
« on: September 20, 2016, 11:19:14 pm »
Hi Osclass,

I have purchased the Social Login and have installed and it is working . . . . sort of.

In order to replicate the issue follow:

1, Go to http://www.bigfreeads.co.uk
2, Click "Publish Your Ad Free".
3, Click Sign in using Facebook > This then takes you through login and then to "My Listings".
4, When then clicking Publish Your Ad Free "AGAIN" . . it then says "Only registered users are allowed to post listings"

I have noticed that if you do the above and then after 3, you click on another menu option on the left and then Publish Your Ad Free" then it takes you to the new ad post as expected.

I am using Google Chrome on Windows 10.

I was getting frustrated with this facebook login and wiped the site and thought id try something else.

I am going to give this one more chance so have reinstalled osclass and social login.

It's still not working so I am willing to give it one more chance . . . any ideas ?

I have tried it again and still not working not impressed after spending $24.

To replicate I:

1, Click Login
2, I just clicked login with Facebook and the page flickered almost as if it just refreshed and im still on the login screen . . . Grrrr Stress level going up :-)
3, I then click Publish Your Ad free and it takes me to the publish/create advert screen.  But hang on, after logging in it should take me to the "My Listings" page so there is another issue ?
4, I then click Logout and it takes me back to the homepage with the login and register for an account links in the header.

5, Im now logged out (im thinking) so out of curiosity I go to Publish Your Ad again and it takes me to the create ad page, but im logged out and have enabled the option to only let registered users create ads so why is it still letting me create an ad if I am logged out.

6, As it thinks i'm now logged in as i notice the links change to Hello Kieron, My Account - Logout I then click publish ad and it then takes me to User Login, sometimes it says you must be registered to post and other times it doesnt and just shows the login screen.

I have raised a dispute with PayPal for my transaction as when in the plugin it states:

It also states this in the plugin:

Get user photo from social network

if you want get url of profile image for current login user use the function
<?php echo get_social_user_photo(osc_logged_user_id());?>
Ex:
<img src="<?php echo get_social_user_photo(osc_logged_user_id());?>">
if you want get url of profile image for custom user by userid use the function
<?php echo get_social_user_photo($userid);?>
Ex:
<img src="<?php echo get_social_user_photo($userid);?>">
you can set custom size by pass the size in second parameter like this:
google plus :
<?php echo get_social_user_photo($userid,100);?>
just set the size in pixel
facebook :
<?php echo get_social_user_photo($userid,'small');?>
you can use small or square or normal
twitter :
<?php echo get_social_user_photo($userid,'normal');?>
you can use normal or bigger or mini

But it doesn't tell you where to put it or how to integrate it . . . .  I paid $24 for something that doesn't even work on a clean install.
