Youtube Plugin - How to add videos from other websites?

Hello,

Has anyone hacked the youtube plugin so that the user can add videos from other websites like Vimeo or embed a video clip hosted on their own website/server? Thanks!

There used to be a plugin Madhouse video .. which allowed to embed videos. Works very well, but their plugins are not available on the market anymore. Maybe you can get it by googleing a bit.
