don't you think its a good idea to add a feedback system for osclass?

the feedback system allows a buyer or seller, to rate and post a positive or negative feedback to another user.

the user shall state the reason why he gave a positive or negative feedback to a user.

the feedback system shall also compute the overall feedback counts and feedback percentage of a user, where a negative feedback shall be deducted from positive feedback and then compute the percentage.

the feedback system is very similar to ebay's feedback system.

Yes this is a very good idea and much needed for me.... I am willing to donate a few bucks on this plug-in if thats what I need to do to get it going and running...

I think it should kinda work as ebay's if at all possible.....

I do see some issues with this though that will need to be thought out.

How is osclass going to be able to determine which users had transactions between each other. This is a main concern as I am not wanting false feedbacks left for people who have not even had dealings with one another. I do think there will be some extensive back end work that need to be done in order for this plug into to be able to work.

Other issue I think will come up, Who determins of the transaction was complete or not. I mean this is a classified script after all..

This will be a tough one to figure out and thought will need to be put into as peoples reputation will be put on the line.

a feedback system is a rating system smilar to ebay's feedback system.

it will let you rate a user, you may give a user a negative or positive feedback.

the feedback system will let you post your feedback, only after you completed a purchase.

the feedback system will help buyers decide if he will purchase from that user, based from his feedback.

of course if it were me, i will be hesitant to buy from a seller who has a lot of negative feedbacks.

negative feedbacks means, buyers that bought from the user had a lots of compalints and dis-satifsfaction.

while, giving a positive feedack to a seller means, a buyer is very much satisfied with the service and products of the seller.

would be possible to have thece plugins?

1. allow comment users not only items (user can leave commend if he has problem with seller or not)

2. day or two after the Ad id posted, to send email with link to survey with questions about quality etc. this should be connected with email address, the email can be sent only once a X monts again.

I think this is a good idea but it should only be postive feedback that can be left should a buyer be satisfied, then the seller can accept said feedback. Anythng negative on my webisite (www.place2sell/Hull which isnt up and running yet due to issues SOB SOB!) is for the users to sort out - we try and use face to face rather then paying and maybe not getting the goods........which costs Ebay £1000's in having to sort out lol. Still like the concept though

I think it needs to be both neg and pos as I want to know about any bad dealing that the poster may have caused as that will influence me on if I want to deal with them or not. I just do not want to read all the goods. I am wanting both, the goods and the bads....
