that's why we're encouraging the development team to prioritize on this plugin and considered donating a few bucks.

user have so many suggestions and plugin request, but don't bother to consider donating.

so much are you willing to donate for this plugin?

Hmm... it´s you cosmicx who are pushing for donations to the developers here... not the developers themselves.
Perhaps you should let them decide for themselves if they want to get payed or not??

you got me wrong mate, i used the terminology "DONATION"

...and it is a fact, that the development team needs funds from various sources. and one source of their funds may be sourced out from donations.

and i guess, my idea is considerable. i suggest/request a plugin and prioritize on it, with consideration of giving a donation.

while others has so many request and suggestion, without even considering the act of donating.

considering the fact that, they benefit enough from this powerful and free open source classified ads script.

there are ways to contribute in this project, just consider the following:

- help others in debugging erros

- share your ideas and let user comment on your ideas

- if you know how to code, share your free plugins or your created themes.

- if you have some extra money to spare, then make a donation

I would be looking at about a week to 2 weeks to develop this plugin.

I will try to get started on it next week. As today I am going to spend researching pm systems and see what other features a pm system may benefit from.

i think a gmail style like pm system is great. the layout would be great compared to SMF's pm system's layout.

i mean it is more convenient to use gmail style like layout, since clicking the subject of the message will open the full body of the message in a new content block. whereas, in SMF's pm system, clicking the message's subject will take you to the body of the message, which is just below.

so in SMF's Pm system...

clicking

 <a href="mymessage_1">Message 1</a>

will take you to

<div id="mymessage_1">Message Content here...</div>

whick is on the same page, for me, it confuses me sometimes when browsing through my message inbox.

so i think it's better to implement a gmail like style of pm system.

but, this is just my suggestion. i hope others share their suggestions too.

Hi All,

I just wanted to give you all a quick update as to where I am on this plugin. I am at about 75% done building the plugin. I am looking at about the middle of next week to release a beta version of the plugin. If you want to try out the plugin in the current state you can download the files over on my github page https://github.com/trains58554/OSClass-PM Please if you do try it know this sending of messages is not functional yet so basically what you can do is look at the layout of the plugin.

I got some more done but I will not be ready with the beta release today. I ended up going out of town over this past weekend so I did not get as much done as I had hoped. I am now going to try for Friday for the beta release.

Hi all,

I have an alpha version ready for those who want to test out this plugin. Please do not use this plugin on a live site yet as the plugin is not yet ready for live sites. So far the features that are working are the sending of messages, replys, quoting of messages, outbox, and deleting of messages. Features yet to come drafts, user settings, admin inbox, admin outbox, and admin settings. I should have all the features added by the time I release the plugin as beta.

Once you have installed the plugin everything is ready to go. You will be able to start a new pm with a user either by visiting his profile page or one of their items and you will see a pm link in the contact section.

Again Please do not use this plugin on live sites yet.

Anyone wanting to send a donation please pm me here on the forums and I will send you my paypal info.

Please let me know of any bugs or suggestions you may have.

I installed on test server, control panel settings does not work the pm.
Entering user can not send messages to the Administrator or seller
