First of all, i have no idea at all if i may post this kind of topic here. But here it is....
My buddy and i thinks that a messaging system plugin shall be develop for osclass.
This way, sellers and buyers could have the chance completing their transaction via osclass' messaging system (similar to the messaging system used in this forum).
Contact via email is not bad, but we think it may cause delays in communication between buyers and sellers.
If anybody else here is very much interested in this plugin, just post your comments here, your suggestions too and other features that you wish to include, for a messaging system plugin.
In my end... i like the following features to be included in a Private Messaging System Plugin:
- When a user sends a message, it shall include an option to save the outgoing message to an outbox folder.
- A Drafts folder
- An option to print or download the message conversation between seller and buyer, this feature is useful, when there's a dispute between users. they may use the downloaded copy of their conversation, as evidence.
- A Contact this user button shall be placed in the user's listing page and profile page.
- Plus other more features....
We know that osclass' developers is composed of a small team and we know how busy they are, and they lacks financial resources.
So, for the development of this plugin, all interested parties shall agree to donate at least $10. so as the developing team shall have the fuel to create and develop this private messaging plugin.
