Activation message as a popup
« on: August 20, 2012, 04:53:18 pm »
Some of my new users seem to miss the message that appears on top of the board wich is something like "we have sent you an email with a link. Please click to activate your account".

Is it possible to make this message as a pop-up?

Hi andresvendedor,

Which theme are you using?

It sounds to me like your theme has not been updated as now the flash messages do not go away unless the user changes the page or clicks the x in the flash message.

It doesn't disappear unless you click it away as you say Jay, but it is on the top of the board, and it is not an obvious place to look for a message after you have been fiddling on the middle of the screen entering your email address and password.

I think the message should be in the centre of the screen, or as a popup. The way it works now it looks like you are ready to log in after you have registered. And then users start emailing me saying it's not working.

A solution would be that when they have registered they're not sent back to the login screen, but to a message screen.

I have already lost some potential clients, as they have grown cold due to such minor obstacles.
