Hi, i try to make a research in the forum but i dint find it!

My suggestion is to give the privilege to the USER to add a sub category directly!! This could help to generate a list of category easly, like the BRAND of a MOTORBIKE or a LIST OF REPAIRING PARTS that cannot be easly remembered form the webmaster!


What do you think about?

Hi dagon84,

I think it could be implemented via plugins, we'll study the idea. The main problem I could see here is the moderation of the categories (bad words, duplicated ones,...)

and you could end up with 100s or 1000s of categories that have only ever had one item in them.

A "suggestion box" plugin with admin-side memo list would be far more efficient
