Comment email should trigger after spam filtering
« on: September 27, 2012, 09:59:35 am »
With Alkismet and reCaptcha, most spam comments never make it to be displayed under the ad which is a great thing.

However, I notice the notification email for a new comment is triggered off (to admin and user, based on settings) for all comments, even if they will subsequently fall into the spam filter.

I think it would a be a good enhancement to trigger the email only if the comment is not spam, so that the advertiser does not get overloaded with the spam emails. At least the email to user should work this way, if not the email to admin?

Thanks.

Hi,

Can anyone direct me to where the comment email code is located?
