Dealer Plugin

Hey, has anyone thought about making a dealer plugin so dealers can have special listings and can be added to a directory of dealers.

Well some of the big classified websites like kijiji have auto dealer listing that are different then the regular listings. For a fixed amount dealers can have their own dealer page that can have all their info and inventory.

Ya basically but the they have the option to have their own page and can upload their logo.

Is this possible?

Hi all,

Yes, don't worry, we're working on it already. We're currently focused on releasing the current version, but after that we'll back to that options. So please, tell us your ideas, we have a general idea to make something like "shops" or dealer pages, with a bit of customization, some rate system,... Now it's time to brainstorm, so we could think about and study in order to include them.

I've been searching for something like this for years. Both Finn.no (largest classifieds site in Norway) and blocket.se (largest classifieds site in Sweden) have the option to register as a Dealer so people can easily switch between all ads, used stuff ads from private users or new stuff ads from commercial dealers. On Finn.no the ads is marked as dealer or private. I think dealer ads should have dealer logo or/and a custom background color so users can easily see that's a commercial ad. This is a great way to make a classified business. Free ads for users and paid ads (or annual payment) for dealers/shops.
