Osclass forums

hello people,

newbie user here... i've been searching for an awesome open source classified ads cms like this one. i've been hopping from different script to another script, but could not find the right script.

but now, i think i found the best of them all. it's osclass.

i've used several classified ads before in my wamp server, but the features set of osclass is the best of them all.

now, my question is... would it be possible for the developer team to develop a forum bridge plugin? and forum integration plugin? where user info and profile are shared between osclass and a forum software? ...forum software such are:

SMF
PBB
MyBB
and others.

i haven't tried osclass yet, i've just downloaded it right at this very hour. and i was excited so much to ask this question. and really in a hurry registering in this support forum.

what do you mean by that?

you assigned it to a developer, to develop the plugin for your own use? a paid project?

there is to much basic work that should  be done  on script themselve like:

-   new picture uploading script / faster with progress bar,
-   SEO Plugin
-   own CAPTCHA
-   “Block Words” function
-   user / company , info box / logo  - in item,
-   intra messenger, comb. with user widget in item
-   sorting/search ads by privat and company,
-   user latest search history,
-   compare ads - function,
-   fiendly print page,
-   sold option
-   hide contact when anebling sold funtcions
-   blocking IP
-   preview before posting ads
-   postal code search
-   id search
-   search by Listing Custom Fields
-   mail templates,
-   posted “2 hours ago” issuse
-   “Set keywords for your ad”

payed functios like:
- Listing Pending
- similar ads widget
- Ad priority funtcion like urgent – search listing too

new pay systems
-   like phone pay
-   money bookers etc.
-   preview for paid funcitions before posting standard ads

dealer friendly
-   user page that  allows fast manage from 100 maybe 1000 of ads
-   exporting and importing data in CSV and XML formats / uploading bulk ads


….and meny more, it’s endless “to do list”

once you have cleaned up your garden - you can invite guests for party, or not?

one time we have done lots of basics (many of listed functions are today already standards in classified ads business) we can talk obaut joomla, and co.
that will not progress your bussines neither Facebook plugin and stuff (own experience) if it does I'll eat my shoe

If you go to Facebook you want to “meet” friends, or are you clicking business ads and company pages?
If you want to buy car you are not intrested to visit a Classified ads forum (and inverse), multifunctions pages brings only more work but not new customers

…. please concentrate to script basic functions - that’s our weapon.

but this topic talks about FORUM INTEGRATION PLUGIN.

you may post that in the proper thread.

each of us here have different specification, requirements, expectation, and needs.

and we have different geographical location, countries, cities and culture. and also, we have different kinds of audiences, base on several factors.

in my case, i want to add a forum to my site because users demand for.

...and further more, we can waste our time, whatever ways we want. you can't do anything about that, its not your time anyways.

anyhow... thanks for the ideas... i'll contact a developer to develop those features for my future site.

i agree with you its not my time but question - can you not contact your " lead developer" to make bridge forum for you?

....and about your topic COFFEE OR BEER,  im sure when an osclass user's website is already earning, he'll consider donating.

I was talking abot coffe money that does not hurt anyone but in sum can help to
develop this project.
