Hello,
first i`am really sorry but my english is verry bad ..
i hope you will understand what i`am writing here  . i`am an dummy (not an programmer) in PHP ect.

I have tested Osclass and many different PlugIns - made & modified translations ect.

OSCLASS is really great ... thank you for this CMS Plattform.

Now i try to explain my wishes for the REAL ESTATE PLUGIN ..
It will be great to have an
1. EASY-STAR-VOTING    Plugin for each Holiday Property .
2. an calender booking for the Advertiser and calender view for Visitors.
3. an translation API for languages - if the Advertiser didn`t announce i.e. in Spanish only in english .. ther sould be something like "Autotranslated by ***** " TEXT " in spanish , german ect.

with these Options OSCLASS ist perfect for Me....

We're happy you like OSClass and we appreciate your suggestion and interest.

1.- We're working on something similar but... how could you vote each property? I mean, you should have rented it at least... how do you plan to control that to avoid bad ratings from competence?

2.- That's a great idea. It's very specific and I'm not sure how many people will use it or how it could work (as if anyone could book a date or only the seller could do it)

3.- That's a very good idea. We're busy changing some other things at OSClass so maybe someone could help us and create a plugin out of this.


You really helped us a lot with your suggestions, we're a small team and we can not do all the work right now, but we'll work on the ideas and implement them in a future.

here my ideas ....

- STAR VOTING  yes there where you can leave an comment for each property ... the comment will be also given free from the admin .... like the STARS

- BOOKING CALENDER the Advertiser of an property books the Days & 1/2 Days in his DASHBOARD - the visitors see when the Appartent is free / booked  and he contact the Advertiser.

Regarding the vote system...

Is it an open vote system? ie. ANYONE could vote even if they didn't have any relation with the ad/seller? Only registered users? Only users who "bought" somehow the item?

Hello ... together..

rockitman187 i dont mean something like that - not translate the hole page.... i mean something integrated in Osclass whitch translate only the "Description" you worte in i.e. from english in spanish (if the Advertiser didn`t write something in the spanish folder the automatic translation will be there ....

_CONEJO i prefer an open voting system like the comments are open for everybody, but must given free by the admin ..the voting should be integrated direct in the comments....

I.E. there is an Comment in GERMAN -- but the vistitor don't speak / understand German ... what he understand is the RATING from this person about this advertise.
Finally he well see the voting from everybody (who left an comment)  and an TOTAL VOTING  (i.e. 10 VOTES =  4,4 from possible 5 Stars )

I think that is the easyest way for the vistitor ..
I understand what you mean if erverybody can vote, then the voting is not 100% true because somebody votes for him self ect. ... but  finally all votes together will give to the Vistitor an idea of the Ad`s and the comments

I've seen commenting systems like this on many vacation rental sites and usually the positive comments are generated by the owner, or negative ones are posted by competitors.

A much better idea, in my opinion, would be to only allow people who are logged in to Facebook to post comments (or reviews).

'Social Proof' has way more value, and although it isn't perfect, it cuts down on the amount of people posting rubbish comments or dodgy reviews.

Thanks for your post. I think this Plugin is very useful, specially for holiday reservation. More and more people are looking for holiday reservation Plugins & Software. They are widely used all over the world.
