suggestion - user rating similar to ebay

Hi

I have a suggestion for osclass

a feature that would allow users (buyer an seller)  to rate each other after completing a transaction.

the feature would allow users to indicate they have struck a deal , and after the products reached the seller and the money reached the buyer (either  in-person or shipped via regular mail)  to rate each other.
see this link for ebay's rating options and "star" colors that indicate the number of transactions the seller/buyer did

the rating is very useful for buyers and sellers to know if the person they are going to sell to has a reliable record  or not.

Hi,

This has been suggested and I know that Jay was looking into doing a plug-in for this afew months back but was tied up with other projects. I too think this would be a great idea and would be popular amongst other users :-)

Ebay validates both user and seller via Credit Card, or banking and Paypal.  You have no way to validate your users so nothing would stop someone from setting up 20 email accounts and giving themselves a fraudulent rating.

I don't recommend this.
