Version number visible of plugins

In the "manage plugins" dashboard the version number of each plugin that is installed should be visible.

I don't know if there is any way for me to see the current version number of a plugins that I am running. By showing the version number in the table in"Manage plugins" it would be easy for me to see if I need to download a newer version.
