Regarding the U.S.A. theme 3.2.2. Issue: I can not create subcategories

When I move a category under another category and move it to the right a little bit so it will be a subcategory it does not show up on my website when klicking on "Select a category".
The category that I made to be a subcategory dissapear on the website and I can not see it.
Anyone please help me.

Hello,
Not being a smart*** here but have you checked to see if it is disabled?
Go to Admin.
Open the main cat that the sub-cat is located in and look to the extreme right side to see if enabled or disabled...
 
Have to start someplace so lets start there....

I have double and trippled checked your advice.  but it did not solve my issue.

I have been thinking......MAYBE it has something to do with my configuration using this from "cartagena68"

Maybe it is because of this change I can not create subcategorys???
If so I would need advice how to add subcategorys to this code he wrote.

I have looked at the post and to be honest, now my head is spinning but yes, I am also certain the issue is with that code. you have in fact successfully created the sub-cat but it will not show with that code.
cartagena68 states he is not using sub-cats so he did not include those in his code.
 
Try replacing the pages you edited with cartagena68 code with the originals. If it now works then post this found issue on that posting. Then re-read the entire post because it is 3 pages of editing. It looks to be a work in progress.
 
I wish I had the time. I would be interested in playing with that code.
 
Hopefully someone will jump in with a fix for that code.
