changing the letter "i" at the end of an item's URL

I looked for two days for this solution but I could not figure it out. How can one change the suffix of every item URL from (for example) _i555 to _item555 or cosa555 or whatever one wants? (I know that the numbers are needed; I would just like to change the letter, since "i" presumably means "item" in English but my site isn't an English one.)

you cannot change this, its needed for the system to identify the item id

in oc-admin->Settings->Permalinks->Show rules
 the first one is Listing URL: {CATEGORIES}/{ITEM_TITLE}_i{ITEM_ID}
you can modify it there

Maybe is needed the item_ID but i tried changing the letter _i with something different and is working fine

I even looked there but the lowercase I in a sans-serif font was too small for me to notice the first time around!
