custom fields help
« on: April 15, 2016, 10:46:47 pm »
Hi

I have decided against jobs attributes plugin and using custom fields instead but obviously does not have a upload cv/file feature so just seeing if anyone knows of a plugin that does this or can it be hand coded it myself using php but the file needs to be sent to the email address of the person/company who added the listing, is this possible?

Thank you in advance

Ian

Hi,

I think you could use this plugin for that:

Hi

I have just put in the digital goods plugin but it does not put a file upload button on the listing page so users can upload their CV/Resume to apply for a job?

can a file upload script be coded in at all and have it sent to the email address who made the listing?

see the link below

Hi,

Did you bind the plugin to correct categories (Configure)?. Then when the user selects a bound category the upload module appears.

Yeah I binded the plugin to the categories within the configure section, I get the heading on the page but that's it

I am wondering if it needs to be adjusted slightly as I am using osclasswizards theme

Maybe some conflict with another plugin? Make a list of your enabled plugins, then disable all but Digital Goods. See if then it works. If so, go re-enabling the rest of the plugins one by one and checking Digital Goods still working every time.

Enable debug and see if there's some clue about what's happening to you:

Sorry it is working but is not what I need unfortunatly, it allows the user who is making the listing but I need a file upload button for visitors to upload their word doc files or pdfs not the user creating the listing to upload a doc or pdf file
