@osclass Why are you not contribute the laith's free plugin, you can fix and upload it market why you  restrict the free plugin if it has some bugs,  or allow as share plugins on this forum so we can contribute the free plugins.

it's ok that they don't fix the bugs or problems. the developer has to do this. in my case it was a fault, that i don't saw or receive the mails.

i will fix it soon and upload they to the market...

its all fine

First one is fixed, please be patient.

Like Liath's "vote and review" plugin that was copied from our plugin "rating" (not cool)
So many people asked for a plugin, where you can write reviews... If it isn't ok to extend the original "Votes" plugin, I do not publish it... just tell me please.

or "jQuery Wysiwyg editor" which is a similar idea to our "rich edit" plugin
I like this kind of editors more than the richedit, because of that i wrote this plugin and want to share... whats wrong to do similar plugins on a different way?

I think its better that osclass dose not have updates to often

its better for updates and extra features to in added into new releases to be released in versions every 6-8 months or so not a new version every 2 months or so

its better to have a stable version your working from and not have to do updates every few month on new versions of the script being released

of course updates for sercuity etc is a different story

@xop32

Yes it is better not to update any plugins (dated 2013 most of them) and it is better to have Richedit to use TinyMCE 3.4.6 (Release Date : 2011-09-29).

Much better. It doesn't matter we are 3-5 years back, no problem.

Hello. Has osclass project died? No bug fixes, no development of new features, nothing at all from 25 january https://blog.osclass.org/
Or it's considered that it is perfect like it is?

Also I think that the project is dead. A Conejo can only delete posts or block them. Those that are inconvenient for him. For 5 years Osclass little is developed and Conejo was probably alone in the field of battle. So it ends as soon as the money is important. This entry was probably also block me and I will remove from the forum. What a man of him.

What exactly is the problem you are having ? This post seems like a personal attack and nothing else.

Share your website or your problems and maybe we can help. Osclass still is pretty good and works great.

http://forums.osclass.org/themes-26/support-infinity-theme-ibthemes/

Looks like he's having some issues with an outdated version infinity of ibthemes, we told him several times before to contact the author or contact us (in case he bought it at the market, so we could review what's happening).
Sill don't know why he's using an outdated version of the theme (ie, the issue is fixed in newer versions) or why he refuse to contact us or the developer. I guess it's easier and more rewarding to rant in the forums

Actually this is a proof that people using Osclass (and other scripts like Wordpress), don't have a clue about what they want to do and what they are doing.

And that is why most (90% i think) fail misserably in their projects.

I wish people here were more educated about Osclass and what are the plus and minus about it, so we could make it better.

Not the case, i'm afraid.

For an explanation of how you treat potential customers that does not answer the questions. Just as developer Ibthemes. The template has not been bought by Market Osclass and directly from Ibthemes, but the man did not respond to messages

Of course looking to the future of osclass I bet there will be movement over to newer php standards like using composer or such like in the years to come

osclass has been going for a few years now and does not have a big team working on it like other open source software,  to always make new versions and updates all the time

rewriting the code into newer php standards would be very time consuming, I find it hard enough just keeping my couple of sites up together!!!

we should thank all the people who make osclass a great piece of software   8) and all the other members on the forums  ;) who help out when you run into problems or have questions!!

if you need to update outdated javasricpt and other packages you can do this yourself, I understand this can take time, and sometimes this has conflicts with other bits of code in osclass

I can see you expect this in the core, but as said before if theres only a couple of people working on osclass I guess theres a lot more important things to worry about for them.

Lets hope the osclass with soon be built on symphony components!!!!!

Yep... To make money by creating payed plugins and themes and holding off the development of the script.

So every webmaster must do it himself. I don't really think so, i have never seen such approach to any script. Sorry.
