This is a list of user-contributed plugins for OSClass. While the "official" plugins are listed on the main site of OSClass.org, this post will maintain a list of all the "unofficial" plugins. If you know of a plugin that isn't listed here, please feel free to suggest it by replying to this topic.

I hope someone comes up w/ an alternative PayPal plug-in that's easy to work with and doesn't require paypal API.  Maybe I can hack a WP paypal plugin to work w/ osclass?

Dear All

i have one idea for plugin and want to know if some is working on it?

any of site registered user can save their search for email alerts.

for example, if user is searching for some thing in services then he also put some other search paramaters, in search result he can get one button saying "SAVE SEARCH" and if he subscribe, we can send him daily one email which display all new results depending on his query.

emails should go daily from corn job at specific time set in admin panel.

its fantastic idea and i think we should work on this to get this done.

Now osclass have alert implementation, do a search and at search page results,
 there is a form to subscribe the search. This alerts sends daily, and can be changed
if you want send the alerts weekly or monthly.

What's the difference between the plugins available @ http://osclass.org/page/plugins and those available @ http://sourceforge.net/projects/osclass/files/Plugins/ ?

Some are the same. Are they Synchronized?

Actually, I reviewed/improved the french translation admin.osclass.org/translations.php?action=translate&lang=33 for all the plugins available on OSClass.org but I don't know how to put/synchronize the updated .po & .mo files.

The plugins are all downloaded from Sourceforge. If you look at the download links at http://osclass.org/page/plugins , you'll see the "Download" buttons link to Sourceforge as well.

There are 33 plugins listed above. For those to be "official", they'd have to be supported by the OSClass developers (Juan, ect.). That's a LOT of plugins for them to have to add to their list of things to do and plugins maintain, on top of all the other "official" plugins they have.

There is a reason why anyone can write a plugin... because there is no way on earth the "official" developers could do everything. This is an open-source project, meaning anyone and everyone can work on it. If everything was just "official", there would be no reason for it to be open-source. Now I'd imagine SOME of the above ones COULD be supported, but certainly not the majority.

Just my perspective.
