New forum rules
« on: December 01, 2015, 06:44:53 pm »
Hello guys,
I have no idea why you are locking your posts, maybe afraid of negative comments, really do not know.

Based on this thread:
http://forums.osclass.org/development/new-rules-for-selling-products-at-the-osclass-forums/

What I understand it means 1 of following:
- all links leading outside osclass.org domain are forbidden
- no links are forbidden

Because if I cannot link to my own market, I can link to supporting page with welcome text and redirect right?
If this is forbidden, also any other domain is forbidden (note that link to google means also possible link to my own market).

Because I am really confused.

On the other site, I can link to my demo page, where will be top banner leading to market place, how about this one, is it ok?

@Drizzle
My concern is, that you cannot ban particular group of URLs, for example other market place, because then you can create example-domain.com, where you would have link to your market place, but actually this would not be market place. What about that?
If you cannot place even such link, you cannot refer to any page linking to any osclass market place, even to google.com, because google has your link as well...

I think the rules are clear enough

Quote
We do not allow links to third party / external markets.

If the final destination is a third party / external market, it doesn't matter if you use a URL shortener  (bit.ly, goo.gl,...) or other ways to hide the real URL (google search, redirection,...), it will not be allowed.

We didn't tight any rule for sellers, ToS at the market remain the same, which is the correct place to sell your products. These forums should be for support only.

It's not forbidden and you could talk about any product or any osclass related issue in the forums, what is not allowed is to link to products that are not in the official market.

So should I duplicate all threads and just remove links from there?

Saludos Marcelo

@Montekhristo
If thread is in english, you should write your message in english as well.
I have same problem, for example with latest plugin on market (will not name it), that simply copy functionality of ours plugin. But in case author rewrite code with own functions, or simply create plugin from base with exactly same functions, you cannot do anything.

So actually you can have even 5 such plugins with same functionality...

ok, sorry.

It should be possible to   a formal complaint to the admin.

In my case, it is the day I showed in OSClass forum. « on: July 28, 2015, 04:45:13 pm »

http://forums.osclass.org/plugins/facebook-comments-osclass-plugin/

which means that I did it first!

If this is not respected ... where there is no respect, you should not stay!

@Montekhristo
As I said, if their code does not match to your code, you cannot do anything.
I would not say Osclass is somehow guilty, but this could be avoided by not approving plugins that has same functionality as existing plugins... everything depends how osclass market terms & conditions will be adjusted in future.
